Amphibian, Reptile, and Crab Videos
Last Updated: 3/22/08
Here are videos of amphibians, reptiles, and a hermit crab.
Videos are listed from newest to oldest.
Wood Frog - 1324 KB, mpg movie.
A male wood frog calling in my 20 gallon tub pond on 3/16/08.
Hermit Crab - 672 KB, mpg movie.
I took this short video of my new hermit crab on 12/9/07. He is walking across the carpet.
Gray Tree Frogs - 2009 KB, mpg movie.
This video is from 7/4/07 but has no actual video, just sound (like with the video below) of the
gray tree frogs calling near the pool.
Tator - 1535 KB, mpg movie.
This is a video of my red-bellied turtle, Tator, on 9/4/06
swimming around.
Gray Tree Frogs - 3274 KB, mpg movie.
I took a video on 6/26/06 of gray tree frogs calling on our pool
cover. I do not know how to capture just sound so there is video but the screen is just black. It
was dark outside so this video only has worth as an audio file to hear the frogs. They sounded
much louder in person!
Wood Frogs - 2645 KB, mpg movie.
On 3/30/06, after I cleaned out the 153 gallon pond and put back
the wood frogs, they began calling again. I took this video.
In it, you can hear a male calling the duck quack of the wood frog. The end of the video zooms
in on three wood frogs including a male who is amplexing (holding onto and squishing) a poor
green frog!
